Lisbon Treaty

On June 12th, Ireland will hold a constitutional referendum on ratifying the Lisbon Treaty. The Irish constitution stipulates that any amendments (ie. treaties) must be put to a referendum. The other twenty six EU member states will (if not already), address the treaty through a parliamentary ratification.

Many observers see this vote, as a choice between democracy and the eurocracy.
